It works on Win10 but not Win Server 2012r2 or Server 2016

    14.06 is out to fix "a crash happening for scheduled tasks containing spaces," which presumably was the problem. I certainly have a number of those on Server.

    Yes, I see this happen on Server 2016 (not Win10).

    I haven't used Autoruns 14.anything (just versions older than that) on 2016 before, so I don't know when this started, exactly.

    Nobody is saying when this happens exactly, so I'll just say that I'm getting the Exception code: 0xc0000409 when it's loading up.

    I start the app and it opens and starts loading in the various autoruns from the different parts of the system. In the status bar, the last thing I see is Scanning Explorer ... Done

    I have no idea where it's going after that, but the application simply closes with no error messages, except for the details of the error in the Event Viewer that others are posting.

    The bug in this case, is being reported as a STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN. @Norman Rowe , can you edit the title of your post or is it set in stone on this forum. I don't come here often enough to know what's allowed or not.
