Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.
Just to clarify, are you the owner of the Microsoft 365 Family subscription, or are you using it as a shared family member?
If you are a shared family member, Copilot benefits are not included. Only the subscription owner receives the Copilot entitlement that comes with Microsoft 365 Family.
Also, when Copilot stops working, what exact message do you see? Does it mention AI credits, usage limits, or upgrading to Copilot Pro?
- Make sure you’re signed in with the account that bought the subscription. > In each Office app, go to "File" > "Account" and confirm the email shown there.
- Update Office to the latest version. > Still under “File” > “Account,” select “Update Options” > “Update Now.”
- Update your license. > In the same area, click “Update License” so Office can re-detect your subscription benefits.
If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.
