How to skip the "Add an email" prompt when logging into hotmail

Hotmail has begun blocking my logins (despite solving silly puzzles and typing in codes from my phone), insisting I give details for another email address before allowing access to the inbox.

I am disinterested in supporting this behavior and irritated at the latest anti-user move. Can this nonsense be rolled back to be opt-in, please? Happy to move to another email platform, but I'd like to save off emails from the existing account first.

    Hi,
This is just a step to reduce spam bots, which only appear when the IP reputation is suspicious to Microsoft's systems.

Could you please restart the router to get a fresh IP address, and verify if the problem disappears?

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.
