One drive displays in Portuguese but I am UK based. Tested in Chrome and Edge, same issue. Cleared cache, checked account settings, browser settings, all English, the issue has persisted for months.
Image 1. The language is clearly selected/highlighted in English however, the whole content is in Portuguese.
Image 2. The page only return to English when I alter the bottom left side feature for language, however, as soon as I come out of this page it returns to Portuguese, i.e the saving through different routes don't ''stick''. Bug?Screenshot 2026-06-04 at 22.43.06 Screenshot 2026-06-04 at 22.48.47

Hi Fernanda, that language mismatch happens because OneDrive web apps maintain an independent regional template that can completely decouple from your global Microsoft account dashboard. To fix this permanently, open OneDrive in your browser, click the Gear icon (Settings) in the top right, and navigate to More Settings followed by Regional settings (Mais configurações -> Configurações regionais). From there, explicitly change the language preference back to English (United Kingdom) and save your changes. If the setting still doesn't stick, the localization string is being kept alive by a stubborn session token; you can force a hard reset by clearing your browser cookies specifically for live.com, microsoftonline.com, and sharepoint.com before logging back in.
