    Hi good day!

It’s worth checking your default save location for new apps. If Windows is trying to install Roblox on a drive that has been disconnected, recently changed, or is experiencing issues, you'll run into this exact error.

Here is how you can check and update this:

    1. Open Settings > System > Storage.
    2. Click on Advanced storage settings, then select Where new content is saved.
    3. Check the dropdown menu next to "New apps will save to:" and make sure it is set to your primary C: drive.

If it was set to a different drive, simply change it back to C: click Apply, and try downloading Roblox again.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below instead of Yes or No button.

Error 0x80070003 when downloading a Microsoft Store app like Roblox usually indicates a problem with the Store app itself, system configuration, or app availability/compatibility.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Reset Microsoft Store cache
      1. Press Windows key + R.
      2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      3. A blank Command Prompt opens, then closes after ~10 seconds, and Microsoft Store reopens.
      4. Try downloading Roblox again.
    2. Restart the PC after updates If Windows Update recently installed updates, restart the PC. Then open Microsoft Store and try the download again.
    3. Check app availability and compatibility One of these can prevent Roblox from installing:
      • Region: The app might not be available in the current country/region.
      • Family settings: If using a child account or in a Microsoft family, Roblox might be blocked by age restrictions.
      • Compatibility: Microsoft Store hides or blocks the purchase/install button if the device isn’t compatible. Roblox might appear on some devices but not others.
    4. Verify the PC is authorized and signed in
    5. Check if Microsoft Store is blocked or misconfigured
      • Confirm Microsoft Store opens normally and doesn’t show a message that it’s disabled by policy.
      • If downloads for all apps fail, check firewall/proxy or any security software that might block Store traffic.
    6. Use winget as an alternative installer If supported on the system:
      1. Open a non-elevated PowerShell or Command Prompt.
      2. Run winget search Roblox.
      3. If Roblox appears, run winget install <Roblox app name>.

If Roblox still won’t download but other apps install fine, it’s likely due to region, age restrictions, or device compatibility.
