So not sure why this is happening but I am going through the reward streak protection and yet I am doing my searches. Please advise.

    Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Microsoft Rewards streak. Please sign out of your Microsoft account and then sign back in. Also, make sure that you are not using a VPN, proxy service, or any browser extension that may affect your connection or location that may cause this issue.

If the issue persists, please try the following:

-Clear your browser's cache and cookies.

    -Use an InPrivate/Incognito browsing window.

-Try a different browser or device.

-Ensure that your device's date, time, and time zone are set correctly.

-Verify that you are signed in with the same Microsoft account associated with your Microsoft Rewards profile.

If all else fails, contacting the Rewards support team would be the best option. You can reach out to them using the following link: https://rewards.bing.com/support

The support team for Bing Rewards has the essential tools and resources to investigate and fix this issue. Please note that their response time is usually within 24 hours, but it may take longer depending on the volume of tickets they receive (first come, first served). Thank you.

Streak protection is only used when the system detects that the daily set was not completed on time for that day. Even if searches are done, if the daily set (the three activities) is not fully completed or not recognized as completed for that calendar day and time zone, a streak protection day is consumed instead of increasing the streak.

From the documented causes of streak resets and streak issues, the most common reasons are:

    1. The daily set was not completed within the required time window for the account’s device time zone.
    2. A VPN or a device with a different time zone was used, so the system did not recognize the completion as being on the correct day.
    3. The wrong Microsoft account was signed in when completing the daily set.

To reduce further use of streak protection days:

    1. Verify that the correct Microsoft account is signed in before starting the daily set.
    2. Avoid using VPNs or devices set to a different time zone; ensure the device time zone matches the actual region.
    3. Confirm that the daily set shows a green checkmark on the Rewards page for that day.
    4. Make sure Streak protection is toggled On only when needed, and monitor remaining protection days by clicking the “Streak Protection” title in the information bar on the Rewards dashboard.

If streak protection days continue to be deducted even when the daily set clearly shows as completed (green checkmark) and the device time zone and account are correct, contact Microsoft Rewards Support via the Rewards dashboard so the account can be reviewed.
