It is a disaster for me that Bing Saves can't store webpages with thumbnails, I don't want images, but information.

I will have to try Google Saves. Really, really sick of Microsoft - is it worth the money now that my main use has gone?

I can totally relate to the frustration. Microsoft says that very few people were using this.

They recommend either using Workspaces, or Bing Saves moving forward.

Collections in Microsoft Edge is being retired starting with Edge version 145. In that version, adding new items to Collections is no longer supported, but existing Collections remain accessible for now.

For personal Microsoft account (MSA) users:

    • Existing Collections are available through Bing Collections at https://bing.com/saves.
    • Bing Saves/Collections can store images, videos, places, and shopping results, and lets saved results be viewed later from any device.
    • Saved web pages from Collections are moved into Favorites as folders when using the Move to Favorites option in Edge; only URLs (not images or notes) are moved.

For work or school (AAD/Entra) accounts:

    • Collections data can be exported for backup or offline use from Edge via Settings and more > More tools > Collections > More options (...) > Send to Excel.

If the current Bing Saves experience does not meet the need for webpage thumbnails and information, the only options provided are:

    • Access existing Collections content via Bing Saves (for personal accounts) while it remains available.
    • Move page URLs to Favorites from Collections in Edge.
    • Export Collections data (for work/school accounts) and manage it externally.
