I saw you picked MacOS as the question tag. Any chance your subscription was purchased via Apple App Store? If so, it will not be listed in your Microsoft account. It will be listed in your Apple account instead.

All billing issue will be also managed via Apple, not Microsoft.

Check where and with which account the Microsoft 365 Family subscription was purchased, then verify that the same account is being used to sign in.

    1. Confirm the Microsoft account and purchase source
      • Go to the Services & subscriptions page at https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account that was used to buy Microsoft 365 Family.
      • On that page, verify:
        • That Microsoft 365 Family is listed.
        • That the subscription shows as active and the expiry/renewal date is correct.
      • If the subscription is not listed, it may have been purchased with a different Microsoft account. Try signing out and back in with any other Microsoft accounts that might have been used.
    2. If the subscription was purchased through Apple (iOS/macOS)
      • If Microsoft 365 Family was bought from an app on an Apple device, it is billed through Apple, not directly by Microsoft.
      • On the Apple device, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions and check whether Microsoft 365 Family appears there.
      • If it appears under Apple subscriptions but not under https://account.microsoft.com/services, the Apple subscription is tied to the Apple ID, and the Microsoft account used in Office apps must match the one associated during setup.
    3. Distinguish between Basic vs Family/Personal
      • Only Microsoft 365 Family or Personal subscriptions appear as such and include the full desktop apps.
      • If only Microsoft 365 Basic is visible under Services & subscriptions, that plan does not include installable Office apps and may explain why the expected Family subscription is not shown.
    4. Check for shared Family subscriptions
      • If access is via someone else’s Microsoft 365 Family subscription (shared with the user), that subscription belongs to the owner’s account and may not appear as “Microsoft 365 Family” under the recipient’s Services & subscriptions.
      • The owner should go to their subscription details page (for example, the “Share subscription” section) and verify that the invitation was sent and accepted, and resend the invitation if needed.
    5. If the subscription still does not appear
      • After confirming the correct Microsoft account and purchase source, and the subscription still does not show under Services & subscriptions, contact Microsoft Support from the subscription/billing pages so they can check the account and purchase records.
