Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello Nancy Smith
I can see that you were in a middle of a live chat support session when you were disconnected
You can contact Microsoft Support through live chat again to continue with the subscription renewal. Since this involves renewal, sign-in, and billing/account access, a support agent can further assist you in this issue.
You can start a new chat here:
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, are not allowed to directly interfere with Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. - Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support
- In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below.
- In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
- Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Manage my Subscription" as the category, and click to confirm
- You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.
Before starting the chat, it may help to have your Microsoft account email, subscription name, and any previous support case/chat details ready.
Also, as long as your old Word and Excel files are saved on your PC or OneDrive, renewing the subscription should help you continue opening and editing them with the Office apps.
I hope you can get the support you need, have a nice day.
