please revive my old windows as I download this window one month ago. This window slows my pc.

To leave Windows Insider Preview and get back to a stable Windows build, there are three main options, depending on how the PC was set up and how long ago it was upgraded.

1. Stop receiving Insider builds (stay on current stable build)

• This is best if the device is already on a production (public) build and only needs to stop getting preview updates.
• On Windows 10:
  1. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program.
  2. Change Stop getting preview builds to On.
  3. Follow the on‑screen instructions to opt out.
• On Windows 11:
  1. Select Start > Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program.
  2. Select Stop getting preview builds.
  3. Follow the instructions to opt out.
• This keeps files and apps. It only stops future Insider builds.

2. Go back to the previous version (only works for a short time after upgrade)

• If the Insider build was installed as an upgrade less than about 10 days ago, it may be possible to roll back.
• Steps:
  1. Open Settings > System > Recovery.
  2. If available, select Go back.
  3. Follow the wizard. Personal files are kept, but apps and drivers installed after the upgrade may be removed, and some settings changes are undone.
• Notes:
  • This option is only available for a limited time (in most cases, 10 days) after upgrading.
  • Going back to an earlier build does not remove the device from the Insider Program; the next preview build will install again unless Insider settings are changed as in step 1.

3. Clean install a stable Windows version (best if Insider build is old or badly slowing the PC)

• Use this if:
  • The Insider build has been installed for more than the rollback window, or
  • The system is unstable or very slow and a fresh start is preferred.
• Before starting:
  • Back up all important files to external storage or cloud. A clean install erases files, apps, and settings.
• To return to a stable, non‑Insider build:
  1. Download a stable Windows image:
     • For Windows 11: use the Windows 11 recovery image.
     • For Windows 10 (if needed): use the Windows 10 recovery image.
  2. Create installation media (USB) or mount the ISO, then run Setup.exe.
  3. During setup, choose Change what to keep and select Nothing for a fully clean install, or choose to keep files if doing an in‑place repair.
  4. After installation, do not re‑enable the Windows Insider Program unless preview builds are wanted again.

If the device is on an expiring or problematic Insider build and no updates are offered, another supported path is:

• Reinstall Windows using a Windows 10 ISO for a clean, non‑Insider installation:
  1. Back up all files and applications.
  2. Download the latest Windows 10 ISO.
  3. Mount the ISO and run Setup.exe.
  4. In Change what to keep, choose Nothing for a clean install.

After moving back to a stable build, performance can often improve compared to Insider Preview builds, which are less stable and can be slower.
