Microsoft 2024 purchased from Costco January 2026 unable to update.

I purchased Microsoft Office Home 2024 (For Mac) from Costco in January 2026. I have not used it in several months. Today I went into Excel and I cannot save any files.

When I log into my Microsoft account on line, it says I don't have any active subscriptions

I re-installed it and it says Upgrade Required.

I have attached the error I am getting while trying to Update./Upgrade. When I hit the ? on the right side next to Upgrade Required it opens a box that says Microsoft 2019 is no longer supported. But I have Microsoft Home Office 2024. I am at a loss how to fix this issue.

I have also attached the email from January 2026 from Costco showing what I purchased. Did they send me a key to 2019 and not 2024? Costco Microsoft Office Invoice

    Perpetual license such as Office Home 2024 doesn't include Outlook.

    macOS Sequoia (version 15.7.3) fully supports Microsoft Office 2024, so that should not be a problem.

    I understand you already tried to uninstall and reinstall, but could you try again via the steps below? Thank you.

    I’d suggest is to uninstall ALL existing Office apps on your Mac to avoid conflict:
