how to clear my favorite bar

I have too many apps on my favorbar bar. Is there a way to clear out the favorites barcompletely and start over

To clear the favorites bar in Microsoft Edge and start over, remove the items from the Favorites bar folder, then (optionally) hide the bar if it is not needed.

To remove all items from the Favorites bar:

1. Select Settings and more (the three dots in the upper-right) > Favorites.
2. In the Favorites window, locate Favorites bar.
3. Right-click each favorite under Favorites bar and select Delete until the folder is empty.

To hide the favorites bar (so it no longer shows at all):

1. Select Settings and more > Settings.
2. Select Appearance.
3. Under Toolbar, find Show favorites bar (or Favorites drop-down).
4. Choose Never to turn off the favorites bar completely.

This clears the bar and prevents it from showing, so it can be rebuilt later from scratch if needed.
