OneDrive App does not display all files

Question

I made a folder last night (24h ago) on my computer's OneDrive as a subfolder of 2026 (in the attached image) and uploaded some pictures. I can share the link without issues. I can find the folder if I search for the name on OneDrive app on my phone. But when I just browse through the folder structure, it's not there. Very frustrating. The folder above it (2026) shows that there is 1.7 GB of data, but when I open the folder I see a single picture that I put in there months ago. Definitely not 1.7 GB. So where is my folder?

FYI: when I go to my webbrowser and just browse through the folder structure, everything is there exactly as it should be. So it's an app problem on my Android phone.

Since the folder appears correctly in OneDrive on the web, can be found by search in the Android app, and can be shared by link, the folder itself is probably not missing. This looks more like a OneDrive Android app display, cache, or indexing issue.

1. On your Android phone, clear the OneDrive app cache: Settings > Apps > OneDrive > Storage > Clear cache

Reopen OneDrive and check the folder again from My files, not only from Photos or Offline view.

If it still does not show correctly, uninstall and reinstall the OneDrive app.

The only thing the app has to do is show the files. /Frustrated. Problem is, when I search, it finds millions of files that have related names or of which the content (in doc files) contains the same word.

The folder and its pictures exist in OneDrive (you can share the link and find it via search), but they are not appearing when browsing because of a OneDrive search/browse issue affecting some personal accounts.

The content remains stored in OneDrive and can still be opened or shared directly (for example, via the link or by searching for the folder name), but it may not appear correctly in the normal folder view until Microsoft deploys a fix.
