Account disabled by mistake (false positive) - Need help to recover my data

Hello,

My Azure account has been suspended/disabled for security reasons, but I strongly believe this is a false positive as I haven't broken any terms of service.

My main issue right now is that I didn't have the chance to make a backup before the lockout. I have important files and data stored on my resources that I absolutely need to retrieve.

Could anyone help me or guide me on how to get in touch with the security team to temporarily restore access or recover my data?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi @Saleh Bou

Even when an account or subscription is disabled for security reasons, Azure usually leaves the foundational Help + Support billing framework accessible. General support cannot lift security blocks, but they can act as the routing gateway to the Fraud and Digital Safety teams.

    1. Navigate directly to the back-door support link: portal.startups.microsoft.com or portal.azure.com/#create/Microsoft.Support
    2. For Issue Type, select Subscription Management or Billing (do not select technical or security, as those require active subscriptions).
    3. Under Problem Type, select Problem with a disabled subscription or Account Block.
    4. When the portal shows you automated documentation solutions, scroll past them and click Return to support request or Contact Support.
    5. In the description ensure you provide all necessary information regarding your issue.

The review process might take 3 to 14 business days. Hopefully your issue will be resolved.

Please 'Upvote'(Thumbs-up) and 'Accept' as answer if the reply was helpful. This will be benefitting other community members who face the same issue.

    Thankyou!
