Are you using Edge via Windows on the Mac or did you download the Edge browser for Mac OS?

Is there no extension for Edge? With Windows there’s an option to use iCloud for Windows & to integrate the passwords via an extension.

Apple’s built-in iCloud Keychain passwords don’t integrate directly with Microsoft Edge on macOS. Edge uses its own password manager and policy system, and the available policies only control Edge’s internal password features, not Apple’s system password store.

Relevant Edge password behaviors on macOS:

1. Saving and autofilling passwords in Edge
   • Controlled by the PasswordManagerEnabled policy.
   • If enabled or not configured, Edge can save and autofill passwords using its own password manager.
   • If disabled, users can’t save new passwords in Edge, but previously saved Edge passwords can still be used.
2. Importing passwords from other browsers (desktop)
   • Controlled by the ImportSavedPasswords policy.
   • When enabled, Edge can import saved passwords from Internet Explorer (Windows only), Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox on Windows and macOS.
   • Apple’s iCloud Keychain or “Apple Passwords” store is not listed as a supported import source.
3. Mobile-only password import restrictions
   • The ImportPasswordsDisabled policy applies only to Android and iOS and controls importing from the built-in mobile password manager.
   • This does not apply to macOS.
