Outlook’s built‑in holiday data only covers a limited range of years. For Outlook for Microsoft 365, the holiday information includes Gregorian calendar years 2016–2026. Holidays beyond 2026 (such as those in 2027) are not included in the built‑in Sweden holiday set, so only the few dates that still fall within the supported range appear.
To see holidays in 2027, use one of these approaches:
- Use a web/ICS holiday calendar
- In Outlook on the web: go to Calendar → Add calendar → Holidays and add the Sweden holiday calendar. This calendar is maintained online and can provide automatic updates when holidays are added or changed.
- Alternatively, subscribe to a third‑party Sweden holiday .ics calendar (for example, from a trusted website) using Add calendar → Subscribe from web in Outlook on the web. This will keep holidays updated beyond 2026.
- Manually add missing 2027 holidays
If only a few 2027 holidays are missing and an online calendar is not an option, create appointments manually in the Outlook calendar for those dates.
If holidays appear duplicated after switching to an online/ICS calendar, remove the previously imported holiday set from Outlook (for classic Outlook: switch the calendar to List view, filter by Holidays category, and delete those items) and keep only the subscribed holiday calendar.
