change date on my computer

I need to change just the date on my computer. It's reading 6/14/2026. It's actually 6/15/2026. I have windows 10.

Check the date in your BIOS. This is the reference date that Windows uses in all its calculations. If the BIOS date is incorrect you can change it.

What date it is depends on your time zone. Your message was posted on Sunday 2026-06-14 13:57 UTC. But in some time zones it was already the 15th at the time. If memory serves, New Zealand is an example of such a place. However, the way you format the date suggest that you live in the US, and the US time zone all lag behind UTC.

So I am inclined to suggest that you are mistaken on the date.

To change only the date in Windows 10:

1. Select Start.
2. Select Settings > Time & language > Date & time.
3. Under Set time automatically, turn the toggle Off.
4. Under Set the date and time manually, select the Change button.
5. In the Change date and time window, adjust the Date from 6/14/2026 to 6/15/2026.
6. Select Change to save.

If desired, the time can still be left as-is, and only the date needs to be modified.
