My email account was hacked overnight and they changed the email address and password and set up an authentication app with it.

I still have my phone number linked and have the email address they changed it to. And I have submitted multiple recovery attempts.

My email was hacked on the 13th of June and I am still trying to get it back.

Please help me and don't just tell me to lodge another recovery form to get it back. Please tell me what I can do.

I understand how important your account is to you, so I’m going to be honest. If the email address has been changed and two-factor authentication has been enabled by the hacker, unfortunately, the account may no longer be recoverable.

Just to confirm:

Try searching for the account using these steps from Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/forgotten-your-microsoft-account-username-b2049472-3b8f-27d3-61c6-67a668453f4c
Click on "Search" and follow the instructions provided.

If you receive any error messages, such as “account doesn’t exist” or anything else, please let me know.

This was my main account, I had my discord account hacked and got that back but they had already compromised my computer. It's not that I forgot the account details. They literally locked me out. They changed the original email to the account to something else and I can't even remake the same email because it also says it already exists but I can't log in because it says that account doesn't exist.

In that case then Microsoft Account Recovery Form will no longer work.

Ok then. So what support is offered to people who have this happen. Or is there just no support and it's tough luck.

Microsoft Support agents don't have access to users' accounts, and no one does, they will likely recommend the Xbox form I suggested earlier.
