My Power BI Certification has expired in may and I didn't receive any notification on expiration

Good day,

I was shocked to wake up seeing my certificate having expired without receiving any notification from Microsoft. I checked the spam and bloacked I can not see anything.

Role-based and specialty certifications, including Power BI role-based certifications, are valid for one year from the date all requirements are completed. After the expiration date, the certification can no longer be renewed and must be re-earned by passing the required exam(s).

Microsoft does not guarantee email notifications; the responsibility to track and renew before the expiration date rests with the certification holder. If a certification has already expired, the only supported path is to take and pass the required exam(s) again.

For issues with missing or unexpected certification status, use Microsoft Credentials Support to have the certification record reviewed.
