Admin Lockouts in tenant and Microsoft's Data Protection Slow Response

Why does the Data Protection team take so long to respond to admin lockouts? We are now in day 3 waiting for responses after being escalated by our MS license provider, our MSP, and creating a trial tenant to get a response back from Microsoft. The turn around time is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable! We've provided them with detail of exactly what we need done and what we've done to create the issue. To see others having the same issue and seeing that some are waiting 10 days or even longer is absolutely horrendous on Microsoft's part for business's who rely on their product. That would be like needing food and having to survive for 10 days without food in a metaphor to a business. Absolutely terrible!!!!

    Hi @Marc Olson,

I completely understand where you’re coming from, and I’m really sorry you’re having to go through this.

From what you’ve described, it sounds like you already have an active support case in progress. Could you please share your case number with me via private message?

I’ve just sent you a message already, and to access it, please click the banner as shown in the image below:

I’d also like to be transparent that as this is a user to user support forum, I’m not part of the Data Protection team and don’t have direct control over their queue or response timelines. That said, I’m more than happy to support you within the scope available here. I’ll do my best to reach out and check on the current status of your case, and hopefully provide you with a bit more visibility on where things stand, along with any relevant updates or possible next steps.

I truly appreciate your patience, especially in a situation like this where the impact is significant. I’ll be looking forward to your response, and I’ll do my best to support you further and help ease things as much as possible so we can get you through this situation.
