Download subscription on new MacBook Pro

I no longer use a Windows computer. I now use a MacBook Pro. I want to download my subscription on my new MacBook Pro

When you first purchased or activated Microsoft 365 (Office) that licence should have become associated to your Microsoft Account as a digital licence online and it is from there that you can re-install Office any time you need to without the need for a product key:

Use the existing Microsoft 365 subscription by installing the apps directly on the MacBook Pro and signing in with the same account used on the Windows PC.

Follow these steps:

1. Open a browser on the MacBook Pro and go to https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps.
2. Select Sign in and sign in with the Microsoft account (or work/school account) associated with the Microsoft 365 subscription.
3. After signing in with a Microsoft account, on the Microsoft 365 Apps page select Install apps to download the installer for Mac.
4. When the download finishes, open the installer package and follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation of the Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
5. When prompted in any Office app, sign in with the same account used in step 2 to activate the subscription.

The same subscription can be used on the Mac; there is no need to purchase a new one.
