How do I install Office 365 on this computer? I own Office 365 as @comcast.net on my husband's desktop

If you are you saying that there are two users (you and your husband), you will need a Microsoft 365 Family (or 365 Premium) subscription so that it can be shared between you. The person who pays for the subscription can then invite the other spouse to share. To install Microsoft 365 (Office 365) on the laptop using the subscription owned under the comcast.net account, install it under that same Microsoft account.

Follow these steps on the laptop:

1. Open a browser and go to https://www.office.com.
2. Select Sign in and sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the subscription (the comcast.net account used on the husband’s desktop).
3. After sign-in, select Apps on the left (or go to the Microsoft 365 Apps page).
4. In the upper-right corner, select Install apps → Install. This downloads the Office installer (for example, OfficeSetup.exe).
5. Run the downloaded file:
   • In Edge/Internet Explorer: select Run.
   • In Chrome: select Setup.
   • In Firefox: select Save File, then open it.
6. If prompted by User Account Control with “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”, select Yes. The installation will begin.
7. When the message "You're all set! Office is installed now" appears, select Close.
8. On the laptop, open an app such as Word from Start, accept the license agreement, and if prompted, sign in with the same comcast.net Microsoft account to activate.

A Microsoft 365 Personal subscription can be installed on multiple devices but is licensed for use by the subscriber only. If the subscription is Microsoft 365 Family, it can be shared with other people by sending them an invitation so they can install under their own accounts.
