Can I ask is if this is an ongoing issue or just a recent one? Also, can you verify when a Control Panel window opens "full screen" do you see the normal Restore Down button (the middle square icon) in the upper-right corner? If you click it, does the window return to a normal size, or does it immediately expand again the next time you open it?

    Hi!

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Contacts can be edited or deleted, but there is no separate deactivate or reassign. You can edit the contact by opening Contacts the find the name of the contact that you want. On the toolbar, select Edit Contact. (make the changes needed may it be name, new email, phone etc.) Do not forget to select save and close.

For the deletion just go to Contacts and select the check box next to the contact, check the toolbar again and select delete.

In Outlook on the web (including the light version), contacts can be edited or deleted, but there is no separate “deactivate” or “reassign” state like in CRM systems.

    To edit (change) a contact:

    1. Go to Contacts.
    2. Select the name of the contact to open it.
    3. On the toolbar, select Edit Contact.
    4. Make the changes needed (for example, update email, phone, or other details).
    5. Select Save and Close.

    To delete a contact:

    1. Go to Contacts.
    2. Select the check box next to the contact to remove (multiple contacts can be selected).
    3. On the toolbar, select Delete.
      • Or open the contact and select Delete.

“Reassigning” a contact (for example, moving it from one person to another) is done by editing the existing contact’s details (name, email, etc.) or deleting it and creating a new contact with the correct information.
