I week or so ago after an update, I noticed the icons next to my favorites in the drop down were gone and replaced with a generic globe. I tried 2 different ways to get them back. The first one, they came back but only lasted about 1 minute. The second one lasted all day but when I shut my pc down for the day and started it the next morning, they were gone and repalced with the globe. Is there an easy way to get them back and have them stay?

    Hi,

This is a known bug that has already been reported by multiple users. To confirm, do you have Edge set to clear browsing data when it closes? If so, go to edge://settings/privacy/clearBrowsingData/clearOnClose and disable Browsing History. Based on reports in the thread below, users have found that clearing browsing history on exit can cause favicons to disappear.

If the options are not active, it’s best to report it directly to the Edge team by pressing Alt+Shift+I so they can address it in the next update.
