How do I get you to shut up and let me run my computer on Windows 10?

I know you recommend upgrading to windows 11. It's not happening. I can't afford the upgrade and I have no wish to upgrade in any case. So Why don't you mind your own ***** business and quit interrupting my work on my machine. The ONLY problem I'm having with Windows 10 is caused by Microsoft. I will gladly join any class action suit against you for this unnecessary planned obsolescence. While you're at it why don't you get your ***** ***** off my machine too.

I too, understand your frustration. I have a device that can't use Windows 11, but Windows keeps nagging me to get a new PC. I'm fine with using Windows 10 still because it works.

With this being said, I found a free utility called InControl by GRC (Gibson Research Corporation) that allows you to be in control of Windows feature updates.

What this tool does is it creates a few registry keys that tell Windows to not upgrade the version (in your case, from Windows 10 to 11) and sets the target version of Windows.

To use it, download the utility from https://www.grc.com/incontrol.htm and then launch it. Then, make sure that in the Version / Release section (in the bottom left corner of the app), you see 10 and 22H2. Then, click "Take Control" and you should see green text that reads "YOU are in control of OS upgrades on this system".

Restart your PC and let it run for a bit. See if the prompts come up again.
