Can you share us, what exactly happens when you use Microsoft Store?

Have you received any error message?

    Hi, good day!

To help identify the exact cause, could you tell me:

    • What happens when you open Microsoft Store?
    • Do you receive an error message or error code?
    • Which version of Windows are you using (Windows 10 or Windows 11)?

A screenshot of the error would also be helpful.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below instead of Yes or No button.

Try these steps in order to fix Microsoft Store not working or not opening.

    1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
      1. Press Windows logo key + R.
      2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      3. A blank Command Prompt opens; after about 10 seconds it closes and Microsoft Store should open automatically.
    2. Make sure Windows is up to date
      • On Windows 10: Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates and install any available updates.
      • On Windows 11: Select Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates and install any available updates.
    3. Check date, time, and region
      • Go to Settings > Time & language and make sure date, time, time zone, and region are correct.
    4. Repair or reset the Microsoft Store app
      1. Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps (or Apps & features on Windows 10).
      2. Find Microsoft Store, select the three dots (or the entry) > Advanced options.
      3. Select Repair. If it still does not work, select Reset.
    5. Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter (Windows 10)
      1. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
      2. Select Windows Store Apps > Run the troubleshooter and apply any fixes it suggests.
    6. Make sure Microsoft Store is available on the account
      • If using a local account, sign in with a Microsoft account; the Store app may not be available on a local account.
      • If using a work or school device, check with the administrator in case Microsoft Store has been turned off.

If Microsoft Store opens but apps cannot be installed or found, also check:

    • The app is available in the country/region.
    • Microsoft family settings are not blocking the app.
    • The device meets the app’s requirements and is compatible.
    • The PC has been restarted after recent Windows updates.
