Thread is lost in Outlook replies and forwards (MAC)

Microsoft has rolled out version 16.110.1 on Current Channel. Please update your Outlook to this version to fix the issue.

Thank you for raising this issue.

Microsoft is aware of a known issue in Legacy Outlook for Mac where replying to or forwarding an email does not include the original message in the body. The Outlook team is actively investigating this behavior.

Recent reports suggest this version is where the issue begins to appear, so verifying your version will help narrow down the scope of the issue.

As a temporary solution, you can revert to a previous Outlook version where this issue does not occur. This behavior has been tested and does not occur in version 16.109.3 or earlier.

After that, turn off automatic updates for Legacy Outlook for Mac by going to Help > Check for Updates > unchecking Automatically keep Microsoft apps up to date.
