Request to Merge Duplicate Microsoft Learn Accounts
I understand from Peason Vue that I have duplicate Microsoft Learn accounts and that I should request you (Microsoft) to merge the accounts. Can you please help.

2026-06-22T12:45:17.2733333+00:00 To merge duplicate Microsoft Learn profiles, use the self-service merge process in Learn profile settings. Support cannot directly merge accounts for users; the merge is triggered when adding an existing login account to another profile.
Follow these steps:
- Sign in to one of the Microsoft Learn profiles (choose which one should become the main profile).
- Select the profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Under Account Management, select Add login account (or Add account).
- Sign in with the other login account that Pearson VUE used (the one associated with the duplicate Learn profile).
- If that login is already associated with another Learn profile, a message will appear indicating that the profiles are about to be merged. Continue to confirm the merge.
Important details about Learn profile merge:
- All learning progress, credentials, transcripts, and certification data from both profiles are combined into a single profile.
- It will still be possible to sign in with all login accounts from both original profiles.
- Editable information (display name, interests, etc.) can still be changed later.
- Duplicate content is removed during the merge.
- The merge is irreversible; it cannot be undone.
- A Learn profile can have only one personal Microsoft account and up to five work or school accounts. If the merge would exceed the limit of five work/school accounts, the merge will be canceled and the account list must be reduced before trying again.
- If either profile has Private profile mode enabled, the merged profile will also have Private mode enabled.
If the certifications appear on different Learn profiles (for example, exams taken with different emails), linking and merging the profiles as above will consolidate the certification data into one Learn profile.
If additional help is needed with certifications after merging (for example, missing exam records), contact Certification Support via the public support channel referenced in the documentation.
