How to change to Microsoft 365 classic

My microsoft 365 personal has just expired. I would like to change to a classic plan as i do not use AI. I read that if you cancel your subscription you will be offered the cheaper classic plan but this was not available when i tried. What can I do?

    Where did you read this ?

    The downgrade to classic was a limited-time offer only available last year. The offer is unfortunately no longer available. I am sorry.
