Using New Outlook on Windows for academic communication and scheduling
Hi Daniela,
To help me assist you with more accuracy, please provide me with some additional information following the questions below:
- What is the exact error message you receive when attempting to access Outlook?
- Are you using Outlook on the web (OWA), or Outlook for Android?
- What account type you're using to log into your Chromebook? Is a personal account (hotmail, gmail, outlook.com...) or an account provide by your school (@yourschool.com, @onmicrosoft.com,....)?
- Is this a personal device or a school-managed device with organizational policies applied?
- Have you tested using an InPrivate/Incognito session and, if so, did the behavior change?
- Are you unable to update Chrome because the device does not meet the requirements for the newer version, or because organizational policies prevent the update?
- What troubleshooting steps have you already tried so far?
Knowing that you're unable to upgrade Chrome may be an important clue. If you can share the exact Chrome version and the full error message, it will help determine whether the issue is related to browser compatibility, device restrictions, authentication, or mailbox access.
Once I have a clearer understanding of your current situation, I’ll be happy to assist you with greater accuracy. Please feel free to share any additional details you believe are relevant. Screenshots are especially helpful and much appreciated.
Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out.
I'm looking forward to your reply.
