Why does Microsoft keep saying that my password has been used to many times and when I go to alternative logins, it does not recognize my alternative email account with gmail and my phone number. Keeps on saying that it is incorrect.

    Greetings!

This is Tin, I'll do my best to help. The message that you're seeing that says "your password has been used too many times" means MS detects that you're reusing same password too many times when resetting your password.

Have you tried to use other browser and check if the issue persists? Or how about clearing cache and cookies? To do that, please press CTRL +SHIFT +DEL then choose the Cache also Cookies, then hit Clear Now. Please check if you will still get the same issue.

In case you're unable to reset your password cause it's not accepting your Security information, you can try to reset it via MS Account Recovery Form.

    Account Recovery Form: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/manage/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form

    Thanks,

    Tin
