after trying several times, I see that instead of using the HP camera for Face, it is using a generic camera that is listed. I do not know if that is the issue, but I cannot fix it. I can function daily without the Windows hello, but it was very helpful with my signing in with multiple apps. Can you help?

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    To be able to assist you better, please clarify the following:

    Is the HP camera you're referring to an external one or the built-in camera of an HP laptop?

    If it's an external camera, can you tell me the exact model?

    Share a screenshot of the devices under the "cameras" category from Device Manager:

    1. Press "Windows + X" and select "Device Manager";
    2. Click on the "View" menu and select "Show hidden devices";
    3. Expand "Cameras" and take a screenshot.

    Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    Also, share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

    Maximize the window and use the screenshot tool.

    Looking forward to your reply.
