Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Dear Craig,
Good day, and thank you for reaching out to the Q&A Forum.
I’m understand that you are unable to send or receive email and that Outlook is showing you as offline. I understand how inconvenient this can be, especially if you rely on email for daily communication. As a forum moderator, I genuinely wish I could directly access your Outlook account or mailbox settings to diagnose and fix this for you. However, our role here is limited to providing general guidance and troubleshooting steps that users can try from their side. Please try the following steps first:
1.Check your internet connection
Open a web browser and confirm that you can access websites normally.
2.Turn off Work Offline
- Open Classic Outlook.
- Go to the Send/Receive tab.
- Check whether Work Offline is highlighted.
- If it is highlighted, click Work Offline once to turn it off.
After turning off Work Offline, close Outlook completely, restart your computer, and open Outlook again.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments so I can continue to support you. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm looking forward to your reply.
