Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hi Karimah,
According to Microsoft's documentation, the Schedule send feature should typically appear in the dropdown menu next to the Send button in the new Outlook for Windows. However, please note that Schedule send is not supported for IMAP or POP accounts in the new Outlook. For reference: Delay or schedule sending email messages in Outlook | Microsoft Support.
Because the app automatically opens new compose windows using your default sending account, you might be running into this restriction if you have multiple profiles.
To isolate and troubleshoot the issue, I'd love to gather some information to assist you with more accuracy.
- Are you using New Outlook, Classic Outlook or Outlook on the web?
- Did you recently switch your default sending account to Gmail or another IMAP account?
- What account type you're using to schedule send your email?
- Does Schedule send appear in Outlook on the web (Outlook Web) when using the same account?
- When you click the arrow next to Send, what options do you see (if any)?
Once I have a clearer understanding of your current situation, I’ll be happy to assist you with greater accuracy. Please feel free to share any additional details you believe are relevant. Screenshots are especially helpful and much appreciated.
Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out.
I'm looking forward to your reply.
