I can't sign in to my Outlook email through my GoDaddy account.

I am trying to sign in to my Outlook account through the GoDaddy portal on the Windows Edge browser. I have the correct username and password (I just changed it) for my Microsoft account that is purchased through GoDaddy. I just keep getting the window "Trying to sign you in", and then the number for the Authenticator App on my iPhone. I enter the correct number and it appears to sign me in, but then the "Trying to sign you in" window comes back again. It is an endless loop. How do I get signed in properly and completely. I need to sign in on multiple devices and I don't want to have this problem on all of them.

    Hi James Adams

I understand that you can complete the Microsoft Authenticator verification, but after entering the correct number you are returned to the "Trying to sign you in" screen and become stuck in a continuous sign-in loop.

Before we continue further, could you please clarify:

    • Is this email account a personal Outlook.com/Microsoft account, or is it a Microsoft 365 account purchased through GoDaddy for a business or custom domain?
    • Are you able to sign in directly at Microsoft 365 on the web (for example, Outlook on the web) outside of the GoDaddy portal, or does the same loop occur there as well?

In the meantime, if this is a personal Microsoft account accessed through Edge, please try the following:

    1. Open an InPrivate window in Edge by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N and sign in again through the GoDaddy portal.
    2. Clear cookies and site data for both GoDaddy and Microsoft sign-in pages, then restart Edge and try again.
    3. Temporarily disable any browser extensions that may affect authentication and test the sign-in process once more.
    4. If available, try signing in from a different browser to determine whether the issue is specific to the current Edge profile.

I look forward to your reply so we can proceed with the next steps.
