I received an email welcoming me to onedrive on 3 of my personal accounts via gmail. In 2/3 of the accounts i got two emails, one welcoming me to one drive and the other introducing me to onedrive. I do not use one drive, and I mainly game (minecraft specifically).

I created these accounts months if not years ago. I'm unsure why I got these emails recently. I just want to know whether or not my accounts are safe or not.

To add; I haven't clicked the links in the emails I was sent, I have 2FA on all of my accounts and I have changed passwords just yesterday on all these accounts. I also checked sign in activity and didn't recognise anything suspicious, and I ran scans on my pc via windows defender, and it came clean

Those Emails are just advertising Emails, they are not an indication of your account being hacked, they are just Emails Microsoft sends form time to time trying to encourage people to use OneDrive for cloud storage.

If you have checked the activity on your Microsoft account online and there were no suspicious login attempts, then you have nothing to worry about, your account is secure.
