    Hi Charles

Thank you for reaching out regarding your request for full administrative access.

Currently, you are assigned the Billing Administrator role, which provides permissions related to subscription management and billing operations only. This role does not include full administrative privileges across the tenant.

To obtain Global Administrator (GA) access, you will need assistance from an existing Global Administrator within your organization. The Global Administrator role has the highest level of permissions and is required to assign or elevate admin roles, including granting full administrative access.

Here are some steps you can take to help address the issue:

    • Please contact your organization’s Global Administrator and request elevation to the Global Administrator role (or another appropriate admin role). They can do this by going to: Microsoft 365 admin center > Users > Active users > Select your account > Manage roles.

For reference: Assign admin roles in the Microsoft 365 admin center - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn

    • If you are unsure who your Global Administrator is, you may:
      • Check internally with your IT team or leadership, or
      • Review admin roles within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center (if you have visibility).

In case you do not know who is your IT admin, kindly refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

For security and privacy reasons, moderators are unable to grant, modify, or escalate administrative roles (including Global Administrator access) without verification and approval from an authorized Global Administrator within the tenant. This policy is in place to protect your organization’s data and ensure compliance with security best practices.

I hope this helps clarify your situation. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to let me know. I’d be happy to help.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
