I have a legitimate copy MS Office 2021 which I have been using for five years on my old PC. That laptop has now died and I have reinstalled Office on my new PC and I now wish to activate it. The licence has been activated once, but, as I have said, that PC has now died, and I wish to reactivate it on my new PC. All of MS help pages seem useless. I cannot activate by telephone because that service is no longer available in my country, and the web page that I am told will solve my problem works for Windows, not Office. I have tried following through lots of (un)helpful suggestions on your web pages.

Please!!! How can I ativate my genuine version of Office.

I don't want suggestions about upgrading or anything that costs money - just please let me use the the product that I have paid for.

Can you help??

Thank you for your swift reply. Unfortunately what should have happened doesn't really solve the problem. It didn't reinstall as you suggest so now I am stuck.

The device is not off-line. I am offered "activate on line" but it won't (because it has already been activated) . I am offered a number to phone but I am then told to go to the on-line page which is only for Windows but not Office.

When you first installed and activated Office that licence should have become associated to your Microsoft Account as a digital licence online and it is from there that you can re-install Office without the need for a product key:

    https://account.microsoft.com/services/

You mention phone activation, is that device an offline device you have reinstalled Windows onto.
