    Hello Irene Egnor,

Since Microsoft cannot transfer subscriptions or merge accounts, you must track down that old account to reactivate your software.

// Before trying to fix the apps, verify which email address actually holds your active Microsoft 365 purchase //

If you can't access the old account, you can't click "Cancel Subscription." This means Microsoft will continue trying to automatically charge your credit card when it attempts to renew

    • "Contact your bank or credit card company immediately. Tell them you have lost access to the online merchant account associated with Microsoft and request a Merchant Block or a new card number to stop future automatic recurring charges" & Use your New Account on the Computer

    Best,

    M.
