How to transfer a subscription

I have a subscription for Microsoft 365 Family which is under an email address ******@ntlworld.com

I want to transfer to it to account ******@gmail.com I have shared it with this account but don't know how to make this account the owner and then remove the old account.

When a Microsoft subscription is created, that becomes associated to the Microsoft account used as a digital licence, there is no native method available to move the subscription to another Microsoft account.

The only available option would be to cancel the subscription on that account using the steps provided on this link, then take out a new subscription on your preferred Microsoft account.

After you take out the new subscription, you will still have access to your files and OneDrive on the new account that you previously shared with, but if you no longer use the original account, you would loose access to the OneDrive on that account, so it would be best to backup all your files from OneDrive on that account before changing the subscription.
