Alphabetize options when filtering in SharePoint Lists

Question

Is there a way to have the options listed alphabetically when filtering all in SharePoint lists? Some of the columns have 100+ choices and it would be much easier to have the options alphabetized when filtering all of the columns like they are when filtering by a single column. Is there a setting I'm missing?

I understand how challenging this can be, especially when a column contains a large number of values. Having filter options displayed in alphabetical order would make it much easier to locate the desired value and improve the overall filtering experience. 

Currently, SharePoint doesn't provide a setting that forces values in the Filters pane to be displayed alphabetically across all columns. 

Based on my testing, the values shown in the Filters pane appear to be influenced by factors such as frequently used values and recently selected values, rather than being sorted alphabetically.  

I completely understand how these limitations in SharePoint can feel disruptive. It’s not just about aesthetics; these differences can genuinely affect how smoothly you work and navigate your day.
