not able to renew Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert

I can see that the Renew button is visible and the renewal period is active. However, I'm still unable to complete the renewal.

    The Power Platform Solution Architect certification retired on June 30th https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/credential-retirement#recently-retired-certifications

    You cannot renew a retired certification
