I have an unknown charge on my bank account - it is a corporate account where i have to provide receipts. On the same day i was charged for Microsoft 365 annual fee of £84.99 but also an unknown charge of £133.92 which does not show on my microsoft account payments history. The only info i have is the reference number shown on the bank statement which is

"Microsoft #[Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]" which means nothing to me

    Hi Nicola

Thank you for reaching out and for the details provided.

Based on what you have described, there is a Microsoft 365 annual charge of £84.99 that matches your account, along with a separate charge of £133.92 that is not appearing in your Microsoft account payment history. This points to a billing issue on the account that needs to be reviewed directly by the Microsoft Billing team, as they are the only ones who can access the account's payment and renewal history to confirm the duplicate charge and stop any further billing attempts.

Just to gently clarify, this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors here, including myself, are fellow community members, and we don't have visibility into Microsoft's internal billing, verification, or tenant review processes. While I may not have access to the tools needed to review or verify the issue directly, I'll do my best to help point you toward the most appropriate next steps based on the information you've shared.

To have this investigated and resolved, I recommend opening a support ticket with the Billing team through the Microsoft 365 admin center:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center using an account with Global Administrator permission.
    2. In the left navigation, select Support, then select Help & support.
    3. Turn Support Assistant off. In the search box, type a short description such as "Unrecognized Microsoft charge not shown in account payment history" and press Enter.
    4. Select Contact support at the bottom of the results panel.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow the steps above and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can continue working together to resolve the issue.

If you found the response useful, please consider marking it as accepted, as this may help other community members who are looking for similar guidance.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I look forward to continuing the conversation.
