Hello @Maggie Xiao

Based on my research, in Business Central, a posted Sales Credit Memo cannot simply be deleted because it has already created accounting entries and forms part of the audit trail. For your situation (two duplicate posted Sales Credit Memos), the correct approach depends on how the credit memo was created:

  • If the posted Sales Credit Memo was created by using the Cancel/Correct function on a posted sales invoice, Business Central may provide a Cancel action on the posted credit memo that creates a reversing sales invoice automatically.
  • If it was a manually created Sales Credit Memo, there is generally no direct "undo" option. A common approach is to create a new Sales Invoice that mirrors the incorrect credit memo (for example, by using Copy Document from the posted credit memo) and then post that invoice to reverse the effect of the duplicate credit memo.

However, this information is based on my research. If you need more accurate and detailed guidance for your specific Dynamics 365 Business Central scenario, I recommend posting your question in the official Dynamics 365 Community, as Dynamics 365 products are outside the scope of this Q&A forum. The Dynamics 365 Community is monitored by Dynamics specialists and product experts who can provide more product-specific assistance.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for your understanding.
