Hi Support,

I am using Microsoft 365 basic for email communication and that was connected with Microsoft Exchange.

The emails available on the Outlook web interface is the same emails available on Microsoft Office Home & Business 2021.

The email was configured with Microsoft Exchange.

My question is that i want to delete the emails which are restored a few hours back.

How to delete the restore emails in outlook because it is very difficult to find out which emails are restored.

I have restored 10,000 emails and i want to delete all the restore 10,000 emails on outlook.

Looking for your reply at the earliest.

Thanks

Thank you for providing the additional details, @Pradeep R.

I spent some time reviewing the available Outlook and Exchange options, but I was unable to find any built-in setting or feature that can automatically identify, filter, or delete emails specifically because they were restored through the recovery process. Once emails are restored to their original folders, Outlook does not appear to mark them as "restored" or provide a dedicated search filter for them.

Because of this, your scenario may require deeper investigation to determine whether there are any backend recovery logs, mailbox-specific attributes, or advanced support options that could help identify the restored messages. These types of investigations are generally beyond what is exposed through the Outlook user interface.

For this reason, I would recommend contacting Microsoft Technical Support. The support team has access to additional diagnostic tools and resources that are not available to end users and community moderators, and they may be able to confirm whether any advanced recovery information is available for your mailbox.

    For business support:

Note: You'll need to be a Microsoft 365 admin to create a support request to Microsoft Technical Support Team.

    • Find your Microsoft 365 admin: If you don't know who the global admin is in your organization, you can find guidance here: How can I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
    • Submit a service request: The Global Administrator should create a support request with Microsoft to receive advanced technical assistance. For detailed instructions, see: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn
    • If your subscription is from a partner or reseller, contact the reseller's support provider to help open a service request on behalf of you instead.

If you discover any solutions or have additional insights, please consider replying to this thread to help others in the community.

I sincerely apologize for redirecting you to the Microsoft Technical Support Team.

As a Microsoft Q&A moderator, my role is similar to that of other community users: I can help research issues, provide guidance, and point you toward available documentation and support channels. However, I do not have access to your tenant, mailbox data, internal Microsoft systems, or advanced diagnostic tools, so I am unable to investigate this issue directly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. I hope the Microsoft Support team will be able to assist you further with this scenario.
