Hey Microsoft,

The trackpad on my surface pro flex keyboard stopped working after a spill. I wiped it down immediately and left it upside down to dry for a full day. The rest of it works: all the keys, charging port, pen charger, pen itself, etc. It's the only component not working, is there any chance of repairing it or any easy fixes? The flex keyboard was absurdly expensive so I'd really like not to have buy an entire new one if possible...

Leave it disconnected for another 48–72 hours.

Store it in a warm, dry place with good airflow.

The trackpad has its own electronics and ribbon cable.

A small amount of liquid can damage only this section while leaving the keyboard unaffected.

    Test in the UEFI:

    Shut down.

Hold Volume Up while pressing Power.

If the trackpad doesn't work there either, it's almost certainly a hardware issue.
