I recorded a Teams Meeting but dont know where on the Cloud to find it

Question

After recording a Teams meeting it is not clear where I can find the recording. I have no idea what the file/folder would be called in order to search my Onedrive for it. Apparently it is not somewhere obvious. Please help TIA

Access OneDrive for Business and navigate to the automatically created Recordings folder to find channel or non-channel meeting files. For channel-based Teams meetings, open the associated SharePoint site and check the Recordings folder under the Documents library.

You may find Vaibhav Vadar's answer helpful, as it is consistent with Microsoft's documented behavior for Teams meeting recordings.

As an additional note, if this was a channel meeting, the recording is typically stored in the corresponding Teams site's SharePoint Recordings folder rather than the organizer's OneDrive. Also, if the recording is difficult to locate in OneDrive, it can often be accessed directly from the meeting chat or the meeting recap in Teams.

Hello, the meeting recording is saved on the OneDrive account that created the meeting. For the file location, check OneDrive> My Files> Recording.

The recording is also always shared with all meeting attendees.

Note: Meeting recordings also have 120 days default expiry and can be changed before it deletes.
