I am writing to request a review of my recently terminated Microsoft PL-300 certification exam.
During the exam, I accessed Microsoft Learn using the functionality provided for the exam, as Microsoft permits candidates taking eligible role-based certification exams to use Microsoft Learn as a reference. While searching within Microsoft Learn, I used my mouse to navigate the page. Shortly afterward, the online proctor informed me that using the mouse in this way violated the exam rules, and my exam was terminated.
I was surprised by this decision because I believed I was following the permitted exam procedures. At no point did I attempt to access unauthorized websites, applications, or resources. I was only using Microsoft Learn as allowed during the exam.
I respectfully request that you review the recording of my exam session and the circumstances surrounding its termination. If I misunderstood any instruction, I would appreciate clarification. However, if the termination resulted from a misunderstanding regarding the permitted use of Microsoft Learn, I kindly request that my exam be reinstated or that I be given the opportunity to retake it without additional cost.
