Hello,
I'm looking for guidance because I've reached a point where LinkedIn's official account recovery process cannot be completed.
This is not a password issue.
This is not an email access issue.
The problem is that LinkedIn requires me to sign in before I can contact Support, but every attempt to sign in immediately redirects me to the identity verification process.
Unfortunately, the current identity verification process cannot be completed in my situation.
Because I cannot complete verification, I cannot sign in.
Because I cannot sign in, I cannot submit the support request that LinkedIn repeatedly instructs me to use.
This has created a circular process that cannot be completed.
Over the past three weeks I have tried every reasonable solution available:
- Signing in with my password
- Signing in with my Microsoft account
- Incognito mode
- VPN
- Different browsers and devices
- Multiple LinkedIn Support cases
- Contacting LinkedIn's Data Protection Officer
I have also offered to provide any documentation or verification LinkedIn requires, including live verification or any additional identity checks.
Unfortunately, I continue to receive instructions that require me to sign in to the account that I cannot access.
My LinkedIn account is more than 10 years old, and losing access has already started affecting my professional responsibilities.
I'm not asking anyone here to recover my account.
I'm simply asking:
Is there any Microsoft or LinkedIn escalation path for situations where the official verification process itself cannot be completed?
Has anyone experienced a similar issue and successfully reached the appropriate team?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
