A catalog of AI models in Microsoft Foundry that you can discover, compare, and deploy using Azure’s built‑in tools for evaluation, fine‑tuning, and inference
Ahmed Jama hi & thx for sharing urs issue here at Q&A portal,
portal issue rather than a problem with the model itself. A 'Page not found' immediately after clicking Deploy Model usually means the portal generated an invalid or stale URL. Since the failure happens before the deployment wizard even opens, it's unlikely to be related to quota, permissions, or model configuration.
I'd try the usual portal checks first
-open Azure AI Foundry in an InPrivate/incognito window.
-try a different browser.
-clear the portal cache & verify you're using the correct AI Foundry project and subscription.
Try deploying the model directly from the Models page instead of Compare models, if available. If the same model is available but the deployment link consistently returns Page not found, I'd consider this a portal regression. A Microsoft moderator should be able to confirm whether there's an ongoing issue with the Claude Opus 4.8 deployment flow in East US 2. If you open a support request, include the region, subscription ID, AI Foundry project, timestamp, and a screenshot or HAR trace if possible. That will help the product team identify the broken portal route.
rgds,
Alex
